Hello
... And thank you for dropping by. My artist name is Nightversion, and I make art, design and creative media that’s inspired by the power of kindness, love, the state of the world, and how we can make it better- for all- when we come together. The concepts in my makings are also fed by meditations from buddhist practice with consideration for things that every child should be allowed and encouraged to believe: they matter, they have infinite potential, their way is the right way, and that the greatest most important things( can) only grow inside.
It all started early in life with traditional media, until I went to art school in pursuit of a Bachelor of Fine Arts at University of Houston, and a Master of Digital Media from Centre for Digital Media(Vancouver,BC, Canada). This prompted me to diversify and go deep into creative work across essentially all media and formats– illustration, painting, sculpture, digital, interactive, immersive, installation, experimental, etc. My multidisciplinary way of creating, and conceptualizing with storytelling, has been essential for eventually walking a path that, in parallel to fine art, encompassed commercial work for industries that include videogames, advertising, tech, entertainment, mass media, and nonprofit entities. Some interesting highlights include Art Direction, Multidisciplinary Design, Concept Art, and Creative Media for Microsoft’s Gears of War Franchise(Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Gears of War 4, Gears 5), The 2012 Olympics(sponsored by Samsung), and many others.
I’m passionate about education, creative culture, technology, and sociology to make art and experiences that effectively speak to people, with mindfulness for who they are, where they come from, and where they want to be.
